And it is within the Jökulsárgljúfur National Park, in the Mývatn area, in northeastern Iceland. At 100 m wide and 44 m high, the cataract has a water flow of around 500 m³ per second, depending on the season and the summer melt. It is possible to have several perspectives of its milky waters. Perspectives are fed by the melting of the Vatnajökull glacier. Both sides of the cataract can be visited.

9. Sutherland Falls (New Zealand)
